Some features that makes the CD Training Block stand out are:
Light weight and portable design
Four different edge options
Three different pinch options
Textured surfaces for comfortable gripping

Four Different Edge Options
The full-sized training block offers four different edge depths each one at an optimized angle to ensure you are holding onto a flat surface even when you are hanging weights off it or pulling on the attached sling.
Shown here is a partially made block with edge depths of 20mm, 15mm, 10mm, and 8mm.
Practice different grip types or work on minimum edge training with the variety of options at your fingertips.
Three Different Pinch Options
Want a new training tool to up your game to the next level? With this block, you can add pinch training to your routine. Each side is a specific length to maximize the amount of options you have to train your pinches.
With specified side lengths you can have a measurable method to progress your pinch training.
Textured Surfaces for Comfortable Gripping
The surface of the block has a slightly rough texture to make gripping the block easy and comfortable. However, unlike the texture of indoor climbing holds that wears away at your skin, the texture on these blocks is smoother to help save your skin while still giving you good contact friction.
Customizable

The Search for the Perfect Training Block
The Clavellium Designs Training Block, a game-changing solution born from my personal experience as a climber recovering from a finger injury. After getting injured about a year and a half into my climbing journey and wanting a training block to aid in my rehab, I searched around and was disappointed in the existing options. I figured that with my design experience and 3D printer, I could design a versatile, ergonomic, and durable training block. A few month later, I am now injury free with a product optimized to help climbers anywhere in their climbing journey.
The Design…
The CD Training Block utilizes 3D printing to allow for precise angles and dimensions to achieve a versatile design that will not only satisfy many of your training or recovery needs, but also be a fun addition to your climbing collection.
Each crimp edge is angled in such a way so that when weight is hung from the corresponding tether channel, the block will rotate so that you will always be holding on to a flat surface which adds consistency and precision to your training.
Accounting for the moment exerted on the block when it is being held and weight is being hung from it is one of the areas where the CD Training Block has an advantage over traditional training blocks. For hang boards, you do not need to worry about this since the hang board is fixed and any moment exerted will be counter-acted by the wall it is secured to. The CD Training Block takes this advantage into a mobile form where you can also finely adjust the weight to fit your needs. No more needing to set up complex pulley systems to reduce the load on your fingers for that injury rehab or training that new grip!
